Balance is a hard earned and sometimes it's quite the
juggling act. In a world that we
constantly reminded of how we should look, eat and live, when to get on
treadmill and when to be off, and with mind boggling options available to
consume, it is easy to slip through the cracks and let the media control our
lives. I am no guilty of this. And for working parents, striking a balance is a
mix bag- happiness, fulfillment,
anxiety and stress. And in this post-Covid World, the boundaries
between work and home are increasingly blurred. There is always one more
email, one more phone call, or one more chore to do, one more issue to fix, and
the list goes on and on from home to work from home. I keep reminding to myself
balance comes with a healthy
body, because healthy body can only harbor a happy, healthy and a positive mind
set.
No one
has it all together all the time. The person with the most success is often the
person who failed the most. Each of us has our own journey to make, our own
stories to complete. Countless trials paved the way to a win. Be kind to
yourself and give yourself some space,
time and freedom for what matters to you. Balancing can be messy and is often a
work in progress. It is anything but being perfect. It is your life and you are
worth it. Make it count. Stress is going to a part of life. Get to know and
trust your inner self. Let yourself decompress. Listen to your spirits because your
sprits don’t lie.
